Exceptional wooden Bowls & Stained Glass
The majority of our bowls are created by using the segmented process of bowl making. Segmented bowls are created by cutting multiple pieces of hard wood, at PRECISELY the right angles, and then gluing them into separate rings of varying diameters to create the shape desired, after the glue has dried for several days, then turning on a traditional wood lathe to create beautiful finished products.
We also create bowls from solid hardwoods.
These bowls are created from solid blanks of Hardwood such as Walnut, Cedar, Oak, Maple, Apple and Pecan, etc.
The use of imported exotics for solid bowls are also used as well. Species such as Sapele, Mahogany, Purple Heart, Osage, Tiger Wood, Leapardwood etc.
Custom Cutting Boards,
Charcuterie Boards, and Serving Platters
Cutting boards are designed with face grain, the grain is most beautiful on this type of board, edge grain is a better alternative and then end grain for very hard industrial type use.
Charcuterie Boards and Serving Platters are designed as face grain to show off the grain and are suited for display and serving, not for heavy cutting. Most serving trays and platers are finished in Polyurethane and are not intended to be cutting on.
